The teachers at these courses are great professionals who have been working with teenagers for a long time and have done amazing job working with them:

We enroll the following levels:

  • •   Elementary (A2)
  • •   Pre Intermediate (B1)
  • •   Intermediate (B1+)
  • •   Upper Intermediate (B2)
CLIL – physics, chemistry, biology and geography in English

(CLIL = Content and Language Integrated Learning) – is a unique course which is developed in our centre during which students study the main school subjects in English. But they do so very creatively and in a very interesting way – they do experiments, dispute, work in a teams, make presentations of a country according to its geographical position, climate and economics, make up a menu taking into account the energy value of products etc.

Here the language is a means of studying, not the purpose, which is why the motivation and the level of language raise effectively. During the studies we use authentic materials such as articles, surveys, audio and video. And what is important here is that attendance at this course is very high!

You can enroll into this group if you are Intermediate or Upper Intermediate in English.

The teacher of the course and author of a program – Olga Zavorotna (Celta, CAE) is always very attentive to her students, she takes into account all wishes of her students by providing regular surveys to make this course as effective and interesting as possible.

CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. This is a special course in which English is used to teach other subjects of the school course. Our course involves the study of biology, geography, chemistry and physics in English.

The approach, when the language becomes not the subject of study, but a tool, has proved a great success. Students get a strong motivation for learning English, because they need it to understand the subject, and they also immediately use it in practice.

Our course is formed on the basis of students' wishes. It applies elements of problematic, interactive and project learning. Students are offered not only text-based materials, but also in audio and video formats. This makes it possible to perceive the material in a complex manner. In addition to studying it, students perform practical tasks, experiment, debate, work in a team and learn to prove their opinion.

There is no enrollment to this group at the moment. But you can leave an online application and we will contact you as soon as we open new enrollment!

Preparation for PET / FCE / CAE + “ZNO” / “DPA”

Our education center invites high school students and teenagers to the English language courses.

Our programs are designed specifically for those who:

— want to improve personal English skills,

— want to pass one of the Cambridge exams: PET, FCE, CAE,

— is preparing to become a student and begin preparation for compulsory school exam — External Independent Assessment (“ZNO”) in English,

— is planning to pass State Final Examination (“DPA”) at 12 points!

As our experience shows, these goals can be achieved within one academic year.

In 2017 all our students have successfully passed ZNO

Graduates with English levels of Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate have received from 133 to 170 points at “ZNO” (the average result — 152 points). Graduates of Upper Intermediate / Advanced levels have received from 156 to 192 points (the average result — 178 points).

The maximum score on the exam is 200, the passing score is 100 points.

All our teachers are certified and experienced specialists in teaching English to teenagers

Our teachers are official examiners of Cambridge English tests, holders of many international teaching certificates. The majority of them managed to get education abroad and they are ready to share their knowledge and experience with our students. You can find out more about every teacher by visiting their personal page on our web-site.

The curriculum for teenagers includes preparation for the Cambridge English Language Assessment:

PET (B1), FCE (B2) and CAE (C1) tests, the successful passing of which was calculated as 12 points in English for “DPA” since 2010/2011 academic year. If there is no need to pass the Cambridge exam, some tasks from “ZNO” are calculated as “DPA”.

We are the official test-center, so Cambridge exams can take place in the same room, where our classes take place. In this way we try to avoid the element of unfamiliar place during the exam.

Preparation for “ZNO” and “DPA” in English

Our teachers have been preparing students for school exams and final certification for several years. We track all the updates, are familiar with the current program, and the official senior ZNO examiner regularly conducts trainings for our English teachers. In academic year 2017/2018, the English language will become one of the four compulsory disciplines during final school exams. Thus, all high school students will pass this exam.

ZNO-2018 will be different from previous years because of a new section at the exam — Listening. It is also planned to introduce two-level testing: B1 (standard school program) and B2 (specialized classes).

Our special course will help you to improve your English significantly as well as to cope simultaneously with several tests — school finals ZNO and DPA and international Cambridge English exams!
